NVQ Level 3?

Postby Jools » Fri Mar 12, 2010 9:27 pm

Can anyone offer me advice on how to upgrade my A63 A40 CPCS NVQ Level 2 to a Level 3 or what is the next move that I can do. I have a blue card now, can I upgrade to a Supervisor card, gold card etc?

Any help would be very grateful. Thank you.

no you carnt get a c.s.c.s gold card if you get nvq3 in anything other than site supervison or management. I looked into it when i was on the olympic park. There rule is to supervise people you have to have a gold card minimum. A.P and crane supervisors are excempt from this on there. I asked cscds about upgrading and i wiould have to do a manegment course in supervison £700 or nvq4 mangement £1300. it would of helped me in future if i could of got it.
I will try again at next job.

Hi linscsteve and welcome to lifting world.

See if the below links are of any use to you, if not it may be better to ask a specific question that you are having difficulty with.

Hi linscsteve

NVQ’s do tend to use a lot of gobbledygook, but you can normally decipher the gobbledygook by the “Learning outcome and the Assessment criteria”.

I have sent you a PM with what I believe they are looking for.
